Zing Insights are delighted to announce we have been invited to host a session at the AEO Marketing Forum. The forum organised by the Association of Event Organisers is to be held on 13th September at Earls Court and this year the theme is evolution.
Zing will be hosting a mystery marketing role play session. For our research session we’ve ditched the statistics and bar charts, and avoided giving you a slow painful death by PowerPoint.
Instead we’re going to give you a fresh outlook on the role of research and business insights in event marketing. For this session you’re going to be using information to frame your thinking – that’s right, you’ll be doing the thinking!
The Zing Insights Research Team will take you through a series of fictional event scenarios covering both B2B and B2C events, highlighting the challenges or opportunities facing each. It will then be down to you and your ‘table team’ to decide which media is THE most appropriate method of attracting/retaining visitors.
Zing will host individual ‘team’ debates and discussions which will culminate in a debate on the merits of the chosen media which will then be compared to the answer of the ‘Secret Marketer’.
The identity of the ‘Secret Marketer’ will remain a mystery. But we can disclose the person is a Marketing Director at a leading events company and secondly, it’s not Stig.
