ALLIANZ YOUR COVER APPOINTS HEAD OF DIRECT

Allianz Your Cover Insurance is very pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Lott as head of direct following the departure of Andy James.

Jon makes his move to the UK business from his current role as head of direct in Allianz Australia where he was responsible for profit and loss of the business, including sales, customer experience and product and proposition development.

Jon will be responsible for developing and implementing the growth strategy of the Allianz Your Cover brand and creating a differentiated brand proposition.

Jon added: “I am excited to start my new role with the UK arm of the business. My aim is to deliver a customer centric approach and place Allianz Your Cover as a leader in the direct insurance market.”

Neil Brettell, director of speciality and direct, Allianz Retail, said: “I am delighted to invite Jon to Allianz UK and I’m sure he will use his wealth of experience to bring further growth to Allianz Your Cover.”

Prior to working for Allianz, Jon worked for Ageas in East Asia as deputy director alternate business where he worked with their joint ventures in the region to maximise the value of their direct business.
