Assima PLC is pleased to be shortlisted in three separate awards categories in The Learning Awards from The Learning and Performance Institute. These awards recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in Learning and Development. The awards ceremony will be held in London, 2nd February 2012 at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
With Molson Coors, Assima is a finalist in The External Training Project of the Year Award which is presented to a training provider that has undertaken a major training project for a client that
is innovative in concept and has produced demonstrable performance improvement for the client.
The Molson Coors training team, working in partnership with Assima to design, develop and deliver
their entire training solution, delivered 79 system and 34 education courses to 1044 individuals in 14
rooms across 5 sites. In doing so we achieved an overall course attendance of 92% and an average
participant (competency) assessment score of 87%.
Assima’s client TNT Express have been shortlisted for The Internal Training Project of the Year
Award which is presented to an internal training team that has undertaken a major training project
that is innovative in concept and has produced demonstrable performance improvement for the
organisation.
Alongside TNT, Assima has also been shortlisted for The Learning Technologies Solution of the
Year Award that is presented to an enterprise that has carried out a training project using one or more
learning technologies that demonstrates high quality and innovation – in terms of both content and
instructional techniques – and that has made demonstrable performance improvement for the client.
Assima and TNT have developed a successful solution to ensure the training of 12,000 people in over
60 countries in 7 languages; ensuring users are both competent and confident in the use of 8 new
systems supporting diverse business functions.
Using Assima virtual cloning technology, TNT have created 245 simulations and supporting material;
delivered 500 instructor led training sessions; supported system implementations in over 60 countries
across 760 individual business locations. The training solution has been translated in seven
languages: English, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Spanish and Chinese.
