Today there are over 25000 products and over 1200 brands from all over the world gathered at BASOUK.

Olof Lindblom, Marketing Director –  ”We have chosen our partners carefully focusing on quality rather than quantity. The reason that we are able to have such a wide selection is that there are so many great retailers really putting their hearts into what they are doing. Therefore we also hope that we are able to inspire and let our users find new stores and brands through basouk.com that they otherwise wouldn’t have discovered.

Olof continues – “The first two weeks has been a success with over 10.000 unique visitors. That’s even more than what we could have wished for. We have a great marketing strategy and our ambition is to have around 25000 unique visitors per month before summer. We can clearly see that the BASOUK model is working and that our audience really enjoy being able to browse several online stores at the same time. “

Already now during the first half of 2012 basouk.com will be extended with even greater functionality to strengthen their position on the market.

David Höök - ”During the spring we will implement functionality enabling more elaborate content filtering allowing our users to create personal accounts and tailor their own experience of BASOUK.  Imagine having your “own online store” with all your favourite brands and still being inspired by other users’ taste in fashion as well as discovering new brands and products. “

David continues – “The most popular brands on BASOUK after the first two weeks are the Swedish success ACNEAPC from France, COMME DE GARCONS from Japan, Italian DIEMME and the British classic - BARBOUR”.

Today BASOUK has collaborations with around 20 online stores such as Oki-ni, Superdenim, Coggles, End Clothing, Couverture and the Garbstore and Need Supply.
