Back Nadal at 6.00 to end the season on a high according to Betclic.com's tennis expert

LONDON. Rafael Nadal is the man to beat when the World ATP World Tour Finals get underway in London, according to Betclic.com’s tennis expert and bookmaker Peter Wootton (above).

“In a very open event I would take a chance on Nadal at six times the money. The World number two will arrive in London fresh and rested after skipping Paris last week and he also plays well at the O2 Arena after getting to the Final last year,” tennis trader Wootton told Betclic.com.

“Doubts surrounding a lot of the other players, especially Djokovic whose fitness is a real concern after a long season. Federer will prove a tough nut to crack in this sort of form but at odds of 2.75 doesn’t really offer any value."

“A lively outsider could be Tomas Berdych at 20.00 in odds. He plays well indoors, is in good form and has a winning head-to-head record against Britain’s Andy Murray. He has a real chance to finish second in the group to Djokovic,” Wootton added.

Roger Federer – Switzerland
Age: 30

Odds to win in London: 2.75
Strength: Defending champion and comes here in great form having won back to back titles in Basel and at the Paris Masters. The surface in London will suit his style of play perfectly as well.
Weakness:  Age is not on Federer’s side and he might be vulnerable to the younger legs of Djokovic and Nadal.

Andy Murray - Great Britain
Age: 24
World Ranking: 3

Odds to win in London: 3.50
Strength: Murray is playing in his home country so he is sure to get lots of support from the fans. The British number one has been in good form recently winning back to back titles in Bangkok, Japan and Shanghai. He also had a good showing in this tournament last year, narrowly missing out in the Semi’s to Nadal.
Weakness: His winning streak came to a disappointing end with a loss to Berdych in Paris Masters last week, although tiredness could have been a key factor.

Novak Djokovic – Serbia
Age: 24

Odds to win in London: 5.00
Strength: Djokovic has been the best player in the world this year and the player to beat after winning three of this year’s four majors. He has beaten all comers this season, including Murray, Nadal and Federer in the big matches.
Weakness: The Serb’s fitness could be an issue after a gruelling season. Recently the World number one retired during the Davis Cup Semi Finals and also withdrew against Tsonga in Paris last week.

Rafael Nadal – Spain
Age: 25

Strength: The World number two comes to London fresh after skipping the Paris Masters last week. Nadal made a good showing in this tournament last year, getting to the finals before losing to Federer in 3 sets.
Weakness: Has only won one indoor tournament in his career and this has to be his weakest surface. He will be vulnerable to the likes of Federer and Djokovic.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - France 
Age: 26

Strength: The Frenchman showed some excellent form last week by getting to the finals of Paris Masters. He comes into this tournament in form and full of confidence.
Weakness: Tsonga will struggle to get out of the group with Nadal and Federer in opposition. He might have to settle for third spot and miss out on a semi-final berth.

Tomas Berdych – Czech Republic
Age: 26

Strength: Berdych is another player who has shown good form in recent weeks, winning in Beijing last month before a Semi Final showing in Paris, beating Murray along the way. An Indoor hard court is arguably his best surface as well.
Weakness: Failed to get past the group stage last year and it will not be easy again this year with Djokovic and Murray in opposition.

David Ferrer – Spain
Age: 29

Strength: Fitness is never an issue with Ferrer and his supporters can be confident he arrives in London in good health.
Weakness: The indoor hard court at the O2 arena will not suit his style and he failed to win a match here last year.

Mardy Fish – United States

Odds to win in London: 50.00
Strength: The American has had a great year and the indoor surface will suit his attacking style of play.
Weakness: He has not been in good form recently losing to Tomic, Blake and Monaco in his last three tournaments. Fish also has a losing head to head record against the three other players in group, so he could struggle to make the semi-finals.
