New and smarter toilet roll dispensers on the BIMobject® Cloud

Global hygiene and paper company SCA that owns the Tork® brand has recently launched new smart toilet roll dispensers for high traffic washrooms as BIM objects. When working on these types of design projects BIM users need solutions that can keep up. Tork SmartOne® toilet roll dispensers do just that.

Award winning Tork Elevation dispenser line is complemented with the smart Tork SmartOne® dispensers for toilet rolls. BIM users can now choose between 3 alternative sizes in black or white and in just a few clicks place them into their design. The objects are ideal for high traffic design projects like healthcare, education and transportation to mention a few.

Benefits for the clients
Offering single-sheet dispensing, the Tork SmartOne® system has been proven to reduce toilet tissue consumption by up to 40%. The reduced consumption means that the dispenser can cater for up to 98 more users than a traditional jumbo system. This cuts costs, reduces maintenance and improves sustainability since less paper is wasted. As the dispensers have a sealed and protective design the user only touch the paper in use which means that Tork SmartOne® is a hygienic choice as well.

Smart sensors inside
By choosing Tork SmartOne® for washroom design projects, designers bring value to both the client and the ones maintaining the building. Tork SmartOne® is compatible for the Tork EasyCube™ system. Thanks to integrated sensors, each dispenser provides real-time data on cleaning and refill-needs through a web-based service available on desktop, smartphones and tablets. This allows managers and cleaners to shift from static cleaning rounds to cleaning when needed.

Available as BIM objects
The new Tork SmartOne® dispensers are available as BIM objects in ArchiCAD and Revit formats. These BIM objects not only represent the products in their full geometry (2D and 3D), but they also show the materials in realistic views. The objects contain links, sending the users directly to the manufacturer’s homepage, in order to get additional technical information. There is even a link to an instruction video demonstrating how to work with Tork’s BIM objects in Revit.
