Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management expands their profile on the BIMobject Cloud.

Blokset is a high dependability LV distribution and motor control switchboard designed for global deployment. This system has a number of different types available in Revit 2014 and has a huge amount of detail for engineers who need to specify this within their design. This system should be used within large industrial/commercial but also within infrastructure designs.

Reggiani

Reggiani is an Italian lighting manufacturer with a market covering over 80 countries. The company has subsidiaries or agencies in USA, UK, China, France and Russia.

Reggiani has in collaboration with BIMobject continued to develop and publish BIM objects. Recent additions include new projectors, recessed lighting, surface, wall and track lighting products: Unimosa, Envios, Varios, Splyt and Yori, offering different choices of design and lighting. Architects and lighting designers can now improve their projects with a wider variety of Reggiani’s most efficient and dynamic lighting solutions.

The product pages are organised by product dimensions and contain different families, based on wattage. Revit files for Reggiani have the best flexibility and are developed with all the required properties: users can choose size, wattage, material, colour and adjust projection angle.

If high detailed lighting design is needed, users can through a link inside the BIM objects access all the .IES files related to that product and get perfect rendering for their design projects.

Steni

Steni is now releasing an updated version of their facade placement add-in for Revit, making it available for Revit 2015 and 2016.

The BIM objects from Steni still provide that unique solution for Revit, where users no longer focus on the system wall as one component, instead focus lies on actual 3D geometry where several new possibilities are included. The objects allow users to work individually on each and every separate component within the facade system.

This release also contains several new colour options for the panels which allows users to be even more creative when planning facades.
