VITRAL A74 roof lights available as BIM object

Danish Manufacturer VITRAL releases their first BIM object, published on the BIMobject® Portal. The BIM object contains VITRAL’s unique features such as hidden profiles and their patented opening function.

The BIM object allows users to build a fully dynamic and customisable A74 roof light system. With its specifications identical to the real product it makes it easier for the architect or designer to fully understand the usage and constructability of the system. Since the object is based on a single panel and is fully dynamic it also provides for several design options which also shows the dynamics and features of the real product.
The object provides the user with a large amount of information such as links to installation instructions, technical specifications and other useful information provided by VITRAL, making it as useful as possible for the architect, engineer or designer.

As with VITRAL’s premier system (the VRS system), the A74 roof lights do not have a carrier frame as with patent glazing or curtain walling. This means every panel is capable of opening without the need for extra framing, so maintaining low U-values, controlling costs and maximising the amount of daylight through the system. The finish is available as anodised aluminium or any RAL color.
