Winner of the BIMobject® Competition 2015

BIMobject® is pleased to have invited young designers and emerging professionals within the Architecture and Design field to participate in the BIMobject Flow/space Competition 2015. This event has recognized creative ideas using BIM objects in BIM applications.

The three winners of the Competition are:

1st place

Dimitar Angelov from Bulgaria is the winner of the MacBook Air. He made the Eco Centre, a concept that gives a natural, clean and functional design with a gradual change through the center’s public area. In nearby gallery and food court areas, the same furniture is used differently but with association to the whole.

Dimitar is 23 years old and is on his final year as an architect student. He started to work with BIM during his second year of the education. Dimitar fell in love with BIM immediately. He is impressed with how much quicker you can create, transform and finish your project and enrich it with the infinite amount of different BIM objects. In his opinion, BIM will have a great impact on his daily work in the future, as the software gives new opportunities to architects.

2nd place

Rafael Morales Santana is the winner of the Leaf Lamp from Green Furniture. He made the project Mind. He showed creativity and consistency when he used the curvature in different scales and contexts, creating an appealing and lively shopping mall concept.

3rd place

Nikolai Ender from Austria is the winner of the ipad mini. He made The Green project. He presented a clear path from tree to tree through the center with nice places to rest under. Nikolai is 20 years old and has always been excited about architecture and design. When creating projects with BIM, Nikolai had always to look all over the web to get smart objects for his projects. He is therefore very happy that he can use bimobject.com as it is a great opportunity to use objects of actual brands in tons of different categories. It is very easy to use BIM, it’s a simple method and you get a good preview on a project.
