BIMobject opens office and representation in Denmark

Swedish BIMobject AB today signed up Danish CAD/BIM company Lasercad.dk as a new partner and franchisee in Copenhagen Denmark. Lasercad.dk has a long history of creating content for the manufacturing industry in Denmark. Their office in Copenhagen will now serve as an official BIMobject facility with sales, marketing and content production for Building Information Modelling and object technology.

Denmark have many initiatives from the government to speed up the implementation of BIM technology in the building industry.
Moving from 2D based CAD systems to fully-fledged 3D BIM systems is a must for the Architecture and construction industry to stay competitive.
With BIMobject Denmark we will help manufacturers jump on to the IT-BIM train and supply the users of all different BIM systems with BIM objects describing real building products.

”It is a natural step for us to go into a more neutral position in Denmark with many different systems on the market already it is not easy for the manufacturers to stay in touch with technology, that will be our mission in the near future to help the Danish manufacturers both in domestic sales but also how to get into BIM process abroad. Here the global network of BIMobject AB will be crucial.” Says Johnny Lundberg Blaedel, CEO for Lasercad.dk that now will be BIMobject Denmark.
