BIMobject® only Swedish company attending the Red Herring Top 100 North America
BIMobject® management was part of the Red Herring top 100 USA event last week and was given the opportunity to present its business concept for all other finalists and thirty of the most prestigious venture capital firms in the United States.
Observations from the very successful and well-attended event, says that the tech sector is hot. The amount of venture capital that is available for start-ups is huge even if there are much less VC firms active today than 10 years ago.
In the US there were 436 IPO’s in the year of 2000 and in 2012 only 50 registrated on the stock market. It is clear that we no longer talk about start-ups but scale-ups, since it takes longer time to reach profitability and all new entrepreneurs has to win a global market immediately since we live in a connected world where SaaS (Software as a Service) and cloud based solutions is the future for the IT and software industry.
The real differentiator is how you can scale your company, not just build your company. Speed and growth is all that counts.
