Bite Design becomes first franchisee in United Kingdom for BIMobject

BIMobject AB and Bite Design today signed a franchise partner agreement creating a business partnership to establish BIMobject in the UK marketplace.  

Bite Design Ltd. supply complete Building Information Solutions to Construction Industry professionals in the UK. Their mantra is to provide the highest level of service to support businesses and individuals every step of the way implementing and using BIM. The additional business concept that BIMobject technologies brings to the UK markets fits very well with the present development of BIM  in the UK.

The partnership between Bite Design and BIMobject is very strategic on a market addressing the government construction strategy published by the Cabinet Office in May 2011. The report announced the Government’s intention to require collaborative 3D BIM on projects by 2016. This partnership will underpin the momentum on the market for a full paradigm shift to BIM and create a major focus in the UK for the supply of real  manufacturer’s objects to design professionals and ultimately to the managers of the built facilities.
