Florida-based Objects Online Inc. signs franchisee agreement with BIMobject in the United States.

BIMobject AB and Objects Online, Inc. signed a franchise agreement today establishing a business partnership focused on creating and distributing BIM objects for building product manufacturers in the US market.

Objects Online has been serving the AEC community for over 15 years as an online marketplace for 3D objects and BIM content. General Manager Chris Stringer, who joined Objects Online in 2004, brings 20 years of experience in architectural 3D modeling and BIM software to the company. He reflects, “the CAD format wars are over. The winner isn’t a specific product, but rather the BIM concept. The performance leaps possible by integrating 3D geometry and building information are undeniable, and companies who haven’t made the transition to BIM already must do so very soon if they are to thrive in this new environment.”

Objects Online operates through its portal www.objectsonline.com and has mainly focused on selling content for ArchiCAD and Artlantis Render/Studio. In partnering with BIMobject, the business proposition will be more focused on creating and distributing real objects based on real manufacturers’ data, providing architects and engineers with free content on a new modern web platform with plenty of new opportunities like web services, SEO optimization and channeling of product information. Objects Online’s office is located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.
