ProduktFaktaDOCU in Norway establish cooperation with BIMobject®
Stefan Larsson, CEO for BIMobject AB, and Pål Engeseth, CEO at Byggfakta Docu AS Norway, today signed a cooperation agreement regarding publishing BIM objects on the building information service www.produktfakta.no. The collaboration will benefit all users of BIM software in Norway and will allow BIM users to access thousands of objects for their BIM model.
ProduktFakta is a part of the international information corporate group, Docu Group providing project- and production based information services in most European countries.
Benefits for the manufacturers are increased visibility, control of published content and optimized maintenance. Technically the BIMobject® cloud http://bimobject.com will respond to requests from the Norwegian information service and automatically send catalogues with BIM object data across the internet. The value is that BIM objects already existing in the BIMobject® cloud will be available at www.produktfakta.no and allow for instant download. All BIM objects and their product information will always be up to date without any interaction from the manufacturers, thus keeping the data consistent and reliable.
