SWEDOOR JW’s exterior doors as BIM objects
SWEDOOR JW, part of the world's largest door producer, launches its exterior door series Character as BIM objects. The products’ unique design and patented solutions has made them very popular among architects and designers. The investment in BIM is a part of SWEDOOR JW’s long term strategy to improve service to architects and clients in the construction industry.
- We see the investment in BIM as fundamental to our business and what is important to us is not about “if”, it is definitely “when and how”. How distribution and future updates are ensured has been crucial to us and BIMobject® is able to offer a very well thought out overall solution, says Carl-Henrik Nyström responsible for SWEDOOR JW’s external marketing in Scandinavia.
The BIM objects reflect the clean design and options the doors have in the Character series offer. Variations and features such as: standard colours, materials, sizes, inward or outward opening, choice of glass types and house numbers of glass openings, these are all integrated into the objects.
