AtlasCorp Offer Exciting Opportunities to ‘Fed Up’ Graduates

As more students prepare for life after university, AltasCorp has revealed it is planning to launch exciting opportunities ahead of graduate season to help them make the most of their skills.

AltasCorp: About the firm.

The UK is still underperforming when it comes to graduates finding work; that is the latest from the Office of National Statistics. In a report detailing the employment rates of recent graduates in countries across Europe, the UK failed to rank within the top 10. Furthermore, a report released by London based research agency High Fliers has revealed that less than a quarter of the UK's top employers have increased their graduate recruitment budgets for this year.

The agency also confirmed that over a third of recruiters are warning graduates with little to no work experience that they are unlikely to be successful in applying to competitive graduate programmes. AtlasCorp has spoken out this week about how graduates deserve better and should not be punished for committing to further education.

“Many graduates are overlooked for lacking experience, yet we believe the three or four years spent at university is often more valuable than experience. It displays an openness to learning and self-improvement and a drive to succeed; traits we think businesses should be focusing on when expanding their workforces,” states Matt Stewart, CEO of AtlasCorp.

It is for this reason that Mr Stewart has announced a range of new opportunities at AtlasCorp this graduate season. Looking back at his own experiences, the CEO understands how tough it can be for graduates to break into the business world and find a role that aligns with their ambitions.

“I was fed up with people telling me I needed more experience. I had an above average desire to succeed and a great work ethic,” continues Mr Stewart. “I finally came across an opportunity where someone was willing to invest time in me; I am so grateful to the people who have coached and mentored me that I now want to do the same for others.”

AtlasCorp is now offering sales and marketing openings which incorporate leadership and business mentoring, to help graduates build a brighter future. These opportunities will reward hard workers with regular business trips to South Africa and the USA, in-house competitions and experience days, and the chance to take full control over their professional progression.

The firm is not looking for sales and marketing experience or a relevant degree. Instead, it will be assessing graduates on their desire to learn and soft skills, such as communication and attitude. It is appealing for graduates to contact them as soon as possible to register their interest.
