BT’s position in Leaders Quadrant based on execution and vision

BT today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc in the Leaders Quadrant for its Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting in Europe for the third time.

Improving its overall position in the Leaders Quadrant on last year, BT has moved further along in both its ability to execute and the completeness of its vision.

Luis Alvarez, chief executive officer of BT Global Services, said: “I am proud we’ve made what we see assuch significant progress in improving our leadership position this year. This is a critical report that will no doubt be of interest to our customers, who we know are keeping an eye on the latest developments in cloud as they set out to use new technology in creative ways. In order to continue improving our position, we announced in April our cloud-of-clouds vision, a practical route into cloud computing that meets our customer’s needs for choice, flexibility and robust security. We have also been investing in collaboration, partnerships and data centre enhancements designed to improve the overall customer experience through reliability, availability of service and speed of delivery.“
