BT Sport reveals February's feast of football fixtures
There is a feast of football in February on BT Sport, with four competitions being shown in one place, as the race for silverware begins to heat up with Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and Emirates FA Cup matches all in action.
The month sees the return of the UEFA Champions League with the round of 16 with matches including Arsenal against Bayern Munich, Leicester City up against Sevilla and Manchester City versus Monaco.All Champions League matches from both legs including Barcelona and Real Madrid’s games will feature as will the round of 32 in the UEFA Europa League which sees Manchester United against St Etienne and Tottenham Hotspur against Gent. The FA Cup also sees a 4th round replay and the FA Cup 5th round on BT Sport in February.
The Premier League matches kick off with Tottenham Hotspur v Middlesbrough on Saturday, February 4, with a 5.30pm kick off. The following week will see Spurs once again on BT Sport as they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
The FA Cup takes priority for those surviving Premier League clubs the next week, but normal service will resume on Saturday, February 25 when Watford host West Ham United at Vicarage Road, once again for a 5.30pm kick off.
Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “February really is an action packed month for football on BT Sport. Alongside all the other top football action we will showcase teams fighting it out for the Premier League title, escape the relegation battle before the run in begins, or chase those European places.”
