Great Little Trading Co. renews ecommerce contract with BT Expedite

Award winning British children's toy and furniture retailer extends ecommerce agreement with BT Expedite for a further two years

BT Expedite, BT's retail specialist, announced today that Great Little Trading Co. (GLTC), the children's toy and furniture retailer, has renewed the agreement for its optimised, service-led ecommerce platform for a further two years.

The brand, which won the accolade of Best Children's Retailer in 2014 for the third year running, initially selected the BT Expedite platform in 2007 to help provide an enhanced user experience for its ecommerce store. This contract extension will see GLTC continue to work with BT to ensure that its seamless online shopping experience is extended across multi-platforms including mobile and desktop devices.

Jamie Reeve, executive chairman at Great Little Trading Co., said: "The GLTC mission is to help parents create fun, stylish and organised homes for their families. Part of this is to ensure we are providing the best shopping experience in terms of products, advice and ease of purchase. Our ecommerce site is an integral part of this and it's vitally important that we have a platform that we can rely on and one that's flexible enough to support our ambitious growth plans. We are pleased to renew our relationship with BT Expedite and look forward to seeing how we can support our customers' desires for shopping wherever they are and on multiple devices."

Asif Khetani, director of ecommerce at BT Expedite, said: "GLTC is a very successful ecommerce site. A key business objective for GLTC's continued ambitious growth plans is to reach its customers no matter where they are, or how they choose to engage. Using the BT Expedite ecommerce platform, GLTC has the power to drive its online revenues in the most cost effective way. We are pleased that GLTC has chosen to continue to develop its convergent commerce plans with BT Expedite playing a pivotal role in its ongoing success."

About Great Little Trading Company

The Great Little Trading Company began life in 1997. Our vision was, and is, to help parents create happy, organised homes for their families. We've done this by broadening our range to include storage, furniture, room accessories and toys as well as all the practical stuff.

As a father of three himself, our CEO, Jamie Reeve is in a great position to understand what GLTC is about. We understand kids only get one chance at childhood -and how easy this is for busy parents to forget. Like all parents we want our children to have the best possible experience - it's a window of opportunity to equip our children for adult life, as well as a rather magical time we should all treasure.

So you know those moments when you can hardly see your floor for toys but all you want is a date with the sofa? Or when your shiny new car is introduced to a banana skin and a pair of tiny wellies that have just found the biggest puddle in the park?

We're here to help you to smooth out the rougher bits of living with kids - we can help you add in lots of fun bits too.
