Peppa Pig shakes it to OutKast in BT TV’s biggest ever marketing campaign

BT is set to launch its biggest ever marketing campaign to promote its rapidly growing BT TV service. Adverts will appear across TV, Outdoor, Radio, Digital and social media highlighting the features, benefits and great value of the BT TV service.

Launching on Saturday 24 September, the TV ads are set to the well-known music track, “Hey Ya!” by OutKast, and demonstrate the strength of amazing content and personalities viewers can enjoy on BT TV, ranging from Premier League football on BT Sport, to brand new US drama “Into the Badlands” on AMC, exclusively from BT. Using the strapline, “A different world of entertainment”, the ads showcase a host of shows across sport, drama, kids, the latest Hollywood movies, documentaries and entertainment, all available on BT TV for an amazing price.

The TV adverts are supported by a national outdoor campaign featuring a wide variety of impactful content – Premier League on BT Sport, the new David Schwimmer show Feed the Beast on AMC, Peppa Pig and X-Men Apocalypse on BT TV Store– using a powerful new look for the BT TV brand. In addition, the campaign will see advertising on national radio stations, including sponsorship of the breakfast show on Capital Radio, plus a host of Digital and Social activity.

David Stratton, GM of Marketing - BT TV & BT Sport, commented, “Our biggest campaign to date aims to win over customers who want the great content and functionality that a premium TV service offers, but without the sky-high prices usually associated with pay TV.”

The campaign, created by AMV BBDO, airs this Saturday 24 September. Media buying was handled by Maxus.
