BREAD Health and Wealth Roadshow

People across Bury will receive free advice to benefit their “Health” and their “Wealth” at a number of free roadshows taking place across the summer, organised by Six Town Housing.

The BREAD events (Budgeting, Rent, Energy, Advice and Debt) will also play host to various activities.

These include free zumba and “smash badminton” sessions run by a coach from I Will If You Will, the fitness movement in Bury that is helping to get more women and girls more active, more often.

There will also be entertainment for children, including face painting, bouncy castles and giant games, such as Jenga and Connect 4.

Experts will be on hand throughout the event to provide advice on money matters and general health, including information on how to save “dough” and gain employment skills.

The roadshow will be visiting St Mary's Church in Prestwich on Tuesday 4 August from 2pm.

It will then visit the following parks across the borough on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm to 6pm:

Brandlesholme, Brandlesholme Park - 11th August
Bury East, Hoyles Park - 18th August
Ramsbottom, Peel Brow - 25th August
