Bury businesses encouraged to attend Quick Wins for Energy Saving workshop

Businesses in Bury are invited to attend a free energy saving workshop hosted by the business support service Business Growth Hub.

This European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)-funded event, hosted in partnership with Bury Council, will take place on Tuesday 20 June 2017 from 8.30am to 12.30pm at Bury Town Hall.

Guest speaker Cllr Rishi Shori, leader of Bury Council, will reveal how SMEs could be saving up to 25% on their monthly energy bills by devising action plans based on proven energy efficiency techniques. Business owners will be able to use these strategies to strengthen their resilience to changes within the market and keep their businesses competitive.

Business Growth Hub representatives will also be on hand to share details of the service’s fully-funded support package aimed at helping Greater Manchester SMEs become more efficient, productive, and sustainable.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided and business owners will also get the opportunity to network with other local enterprises to share and discuss best practices with each other.
