Bury Think Tank – bringing creative businesses together

Creative businesses in and around Bury are invited to get together to share ideas and work collectively.

The group, called Bury Think Tank, has been set up by Bury Art Museum and is free and open to all creative professionals - including those working in digital media, photography, design, advertising, music, video and many more creative outlets.

Speakers from local companies will be sharing tips, information and ideas with other organisations and exploring how creative businesses in Bury can work together and compete with regional cities such as Liverpool and Manchester.

Tony Trehy, director of Bury Art Museum, said: “There is a huge wealth of creative talent in Bury, and we think this is the perfect opportunity for professionals to meet, share ideas and help each other to fulfil their potential.

“We have a stellar line up of speakers for future meetings, such as experts on trading with China, effective digital marketing and talent acquisition, and I invite all our creative professionals to get on board now and take our successes to the next level.”

The first event is on Friday 15 July (6-8pm) at Bury Art Museum, and will bring together digital marketing agencies, arts representatives and those in higher education to share tips on effective communication and working together. Wine and refreshments will be provided.

For more information and free tickets to the event, visit www.BuryThinkTank.co.uk

Bury Art Museum is in Moss Street, Bury. It is open Tuesday–Friday (10am to 5pm) and Saturday (10am to 4.30pm). Admission is free and the museum is fully accessible.
