Bury West to hear about bin collection changes

Changes to household waste collections will be discussed when Bury West Township Forum meets on Wednesday 24 September.

Councillors and officers will give a presentation about the new collection rota, which will come into effect in the second week of October.

Also on the agenda - NHS Bury Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will give a presentation on the Healthier Together consultation process regarding the review of healthcare in Greater Manchester and specifically how hospital services could be organised in future.

There will also be updates from the forum’s highways sub-group and advisory group, and on the draft Township Area Plan.

The meeting is at the Elton Centre in Alston Street, Bury, and starts at 7pm. The usual open forum and public question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting.
