Busy new year for Whitefield Township Forum

A range of important local issues will be discussed when Whitefield and Unsworth Township forum meets on Tuesday 6 January.

The agenda will include a demonstration on the new online community directory, calledThe Bury Directory.

Healthwatch Bury will outline what they do and on how people can influence the delivery of health and social care services.

There will also be an update on the Township Plan, from the police, and about grants available to support local groups.

Residents can have their say on any issues affecting Whitefield and Unsworth during the usual Open Forum session.

The meeting is at the Elms Community Centre in Whitefield, and starts at 1pm.
