Candidates declared for Tottington by-election

Five candidates will contest the Tottington by-election on Thursday 22 October.

They are:

  • David Foss (Liberal Democrats)
  • Martin Hayes (Labour Party)
  • Ian Henderson (UK Independence Party (UKIP))
  • Greg Keeley (The Conservative Party Candidate)
  • John Southworth (The Green Party)

Polling booths will be open on election day from 7am to 10pm. Anyone who has not registered for postal voting, but would like a postal vote, should call 0161 253 5252. Applications must be returned by 7 October.

Are you on the voters’ roll?

Under the new system of Individual Electoral Registration, each person is required to confirm their own details. Closing date to be on the register in time for this by-election is Wednesday 7 October: email electionservices@bury.gov.uk or call 0161 253 5252.
