Celebrating Local History Month with Bury Library Service

A fascinating talk by historian Ian Pringle takes place in Bury on Saturday 11 May to mark Local History Month.

The subject of Ian’s talk will be“How I Researched Philips Park, Prestwich”, and will include a look at an exhibition about Philips Park and the Philips family.

The event takes place at Bury Local History and Archives Service in Moss Street, Bury from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. It is free of charge, and there is no need to book. For more details, call 0161 253 5871 or email information@bury.gov.uk
