Christmas comes to the Tourist Information Centre

Bury Tourist Information Centre will be celebrating all things Christmassy at its annual festive craft fair on Saturday 6 December.

There will be children’s Christmas craft activities, festive food in the café, carols and music, plus a visit from a certain jovial VIP on his sleigh!

The event showcases local crafters selling a wide selection of handmade gifts and cards. Also on sale will be Christmas cards from 25 national and local charities, as well the 2015 Bury calendar which this year includes some stunning views from all over the borough taken by local residents - from Holcombe Hill in springtime to Ramsbottom in the deep snows of winter.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm and admission is free. For more information, call the Tourist Information Centre on 0161 253 5111.
