Dare you take the Mythical Maze Challenge?

Young people across Bury are invited to take part in the Mythical Maze Summer Reading Challenge run through their local library.

This national campaign encourages children to continue reading during the long school holidays. Those who sign up and promise to read six library books can collect stickers and other rewards along the way.

Meanwhile, if you enjoy crafts and having fun, why not come along to a free drop-in session on the dates below and make a Chinese dragon?

· Prestwich Library - Thursday 24 July (10am to Noon, and 2pm to 4pm), and Friday 25 July (4-5pm, Twilight Tales)

· Ramsbottom Library - Monday 28 July (10am to Noon, and 2-4pm)

· Whitefield Library - Thursday 31 July (10am to Noon, and 2 4pm), and Friday 1 August (4-5pm, Twilight Tales)

· Radcliffe Library - Monday 4 August (10am to Noon, and 2-4pm)

· Tottington Library - Tuesday 5 August (10am to Noon, and 2 4pm)

· Bury Library  - Wednesday 6 August (10am to 12.30pm)

· Unsworth Library - Thursday 7 August (10am to Noon, and 2 4pm)
