Festive treats at Prestwich Artisan Market this Sunday

The latest Prestwich Artisan Market is on Sunday (17 Dec) and promises to be a festive treat for all the family.

The Christmas-themed event is in aid of the Super Josh charity and will boast 55 stalls selling a huge range of goods in the Longfield Suite and around the Prestwich Fountain.

There will also be Santa in his Grotto (thanks to Prestwich Carnival), film from Prestwich Cinema on the big screen, and music courtesy of Just Jane.

The Prestwich Artisan Market has been running throughout 2017 and focuses on independent traders from Prestwich, Bury and Manchester. Traders have also come from Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Wales and artisans, producers and makers work in crafts, clothing, art and illustration, horticulture, skincare, jewellery and food and drink.

Each market is organised by Bury Venues in partnership with Village Greens Co Operative (Prestwich), and have proved extremely popular.

In 2018, three Friday night market dates have already been confirmed to run in addition to the Sunday markets. These new Friday night events will focus on leading street food traders from the local area and aim to showcase some of the diverse cuisine that Bury and Greater Manchester has to offer.
