Free business start-up event at Bury Library

Looking to get a business off the ground? Then book for the latest free Start Up Engines event at Bury Library on Tuesday 29 September.

Guest speaker will be Maggie Harding, owner of www.garboantiques.co.uk, who started by working part-time and selling via eBay and other free online resources more than ten years ago. She has now built a successful business which supplies goods to theatre and film companies, private collectors and individual customers from around the world.

Maggie will offer her insights and practical guidance in how to set up and run a successful online business and will be available to answer questions.

The library event runs from 6pm to 8pm, and Delicious of Bury will be providing free refreshments.

Gary Phillips, information services librarian, will provide details of the business resources that the library service has to offer.
