Free IT training to help your job prospects
Free internet training is being offered at Bury Council’s Whittaker Street offices in Radcliffe to help people with their job prospects.
The sessions are for anyone who is unemployed or in receipt of any state benefits, and take place on Thursday mornings (10am to noon) for five weeks starting on 15 September.
The aim is to help people to improve their IT skills using the internet, email and job search sites, which may improve their chances of moving into employment or getting a better job.
You can bring your own tablet or smart phone, or use one at Whittaker Street’s digital hub.
If you are eligible, you can book a place by calling 0151 253 5000 or just come in on any Thursday morning that the sessions are running.
