General Election result – Labour gain Bury North

Labour's James Frith gained the Bury North seat from the Conservatives in last night’s General Election.

The result:

  • Richard Baum (Liberal Democrats).......912
  • James Frith (Labour Party)........25,683
  • David Nuttall (The Conservative Party Candidate).......21,308

The turnout was 71.11%.
