Give a taste of Bury this Christmas

Stuck for ideas for Christmas presents? Visit the quirky gift shop at Bury Tourism Information Centre!

The shop has a good range of DCUK wooden ducks, penguins and chickens which can all be personalised to make them an extra special gift.

There is also the popular Bury Calendar featuring photographs of some of the borough’s most scenic spots, which makes a great gift for posting to friends and relatives around the world.

Among the food and drink is Grandma Entwistle’s Lancashire Sauce, the recipe of which remains a closely guarded secret! Relive childhood memories with a bottle of Fitzpatrick’s Sarsaparilla or Dandelion and Burdock, both renowned for their purifying qualities and lovely to drink hot in winter.

There is also a range of jewellery, Lancashire ware, Victoria Wood merchandise, local books and DVDs, quality china and mugs. This year we also have a unique mug called ‘Bury’s Buzzin’ for proud locals and visitors alike.

We also host the ‘Cards for Good Causes’, a great selection of Christmas cards with at least 70p in the £1 going to 30 charities.

Don’t forget you can also get the latest information on Christmas events, advice on the best places to visit over the festive season and pick up brochures on UK destinations.

The TIC is based in the Fusilier Museum on Moss Street and is open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
