Press release -
Have your say on the regeneration plans for the former East Lancs Paper Mill
Residents are invited to submit their views on a masterplan to regenerate the derelict former East Lancs Paper Mill site.
The proposals are to put more than 400 new houses, together with open spaces and sports provision, on the brownfield land, which is owned by Homes England and Bury Council.
It is intended that an outline planning application for the site will be submitted to the council in spring 2018.
The plans were unveiled on Tuesday at a public open day held at Radcliffe United Reformed Church, which more than 100 people attended.
The proposals can now be viewed online, and comments are invited until Wednesday 14 February. Go to https://www.wyg.com/consultations/elpm
