Press release -

Help shape the future of social care services

Bury residents are invited to help shape the future of council services at a ‘customer task force’ event held on Wednesday 3 September.

The session is for people who live in the borough and either use, or care for someone who uses, social care services.

This is your opportunity to find out what’s coming up, tell us what you think and help us shape our services so they better meet your needs.

The event will take place from 10.30am to 2.30pm (lunch will be provided) in the Peel Room at Bury Town Hall.

At this meeting you can:

  • Test the new ‘Bury Directory’ and tell us what you think.

  • Health and care services are changing. Give us your views and have your say about what is important to you.

  • Find out about how we are joining up health and social care services in Bury and the role of the Better Care Fund in this.

There will also be opportunities to talk to new and like-minded people as well as council professionals.

If you would like to attend the task force event, or want more information, call 0161 253 6021 or email CALteam@bury.gov.uk to book your place.
