Help with jobs, skills and credit at your library
Help to apply for jobs and credit is now available through a free online service offered at your local library.
The Universal Skills database uses questionnaires comprising 25 questions per subject area for the following:
- Universal Jobmatch Awareness (basic computer skills needed to complete job applications via Universal Jobmatch)
- Employability Skills Awareness (learning about all the essential skills you need to do most jobs)
- Universal Credit Awareness (how to create an account, login and input your details so you can make a claim).
You can access this database in all Bury Council libraries and from home with a valid library card number.
For more information, call into your local library or visit http://www.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=10069
