Press release -

New year, new business?

Thinking about setting up your own business this new year? If so, Bury’s libraries can help.

They have hundreds of books on how to start a business, including those by such prominent entrepreneurs as Lord Sugar and Sir Richard Branson, and also access to two high quality databases.

COBRA (Complete Business Reference Adviser) is aimed at business start-ups and includes excellent up-to-date information on different types of businesses, guidance on finding funding and market sector reports.

MINT will be of more use for established businesses as it offers in-depth information on every business operating in the UK. Business-to-business mailing lists are available from MINT for a reasonable charge.

For more information on both resources, go to http://www.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=11570
