Parking and libraries at the township forum

Parking at Radcliffe Metrolink and the libraries review top the agenda when Radcliffe Township Forum meets on Monday 20 March.

Council parking boss John Foudy will outline the traffic and parking issues in the Metrolink area and discuss the ‘pros and cons’ of potential solutions to the congestion.

The meeting is at Radcliffe United Reformed Church and starts at 6pm.

The council will also present an update on the current review of libraries. Consultation runs until 27 April: for more details, and to take part in the consultation, go to http://www.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=13578

Meanwhile, Doug Galvin – Bury Clinical Commissioning Group’s patient cabinet member – will give an update on the localisation of health and social care in Radcliffe.

There will also be updates from the forum’s advisory group and on the funding available to voluntary and community groups.

Residents can also raise any matter during the usual open forum and public question time.

Before the meeting, a ‘market place’ event will take place from 5pm when visitors can find out more about Healthwatch Bury and the Bury Directory, My Health and Wellbeing Plan.
