​​Plans to improve Prestwich at the next Township Forum

Prestwich residents are invited to play their part in plans to improve the area when the Township Forum meets on Thursday 8 September.

An interactive workshop to discuss an effective Neighbourhood Plan is top of the agenda when the forum meets at the Longfield Suite from 6.30pm.

Also on the agenda is a presentation from Bury NHS about future urgent care provision; updates from the police and about the Bury Directory; and the funding available to local community groups.

There will also be the usual public question time for residents to raise any matters of local concern.

NB: The usual Market Place event takes place outside the main room – this time, the topic isAmbition for Ageing.

Also, the PACT (Police And Communities Together) meeting will start at 5.30pm before the forum, when you can meet your neighbourhood policing team and discuss issues one to one.
