Radcliffe residents invited to Township Forum meeting

Changes to waste collections and local health services will give Radcliffe residents lots to talk about at the upcoming Township Forum meeting.

Top of the agenda will be a presentation by the council’s waste management team, who will explain the new household bin collection rota, which starts in October.

NHS Bury Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will also present their ‘Healthier Together’ consultation, which is a review of healthcare across Greater Manchester and looks specifically at how
hospital services could be organised in the future.

There will also be updates from the forum’s Advisory Group and on the draft Township Area Plan.

The meeting is on Thursday 18 September at Radcliffe Civic Suite, starting at 6pm. The usual open forum will take place after the waste collection presentation, giving residents more time to ask questions.

Further details: Christine Maksymowski, Radcliffe Township Forum co-ordinator, on 0161 253 7941.
