Press release -

Six days to go – are you registered to vote?

There are only six days left for residents in Bury to make sure they are registered to vote in the upcoming elections.

The deadline is Monday 20 April, and the council is urging anyone who might not be on the register – such as people who may have moved house recently – to sign up now.

The General Election, and the Bury Council elections, are both held on Thursday 7 May.

The quickest and easiest way to register is to go online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. All you need is your date of birth and National Insurance number and it can be done in five minutes.
