SOS – rock festival returns to Radcliffe

Rock music lovers should put a date in their diary for this year’s SOS festival which is held at Radcliffe Civic Suite.

Now in its eighth year, the festival - sponsored by Rocksector Records independent record label - has grown over the years and is now a three-day event with two stages, main and acoustic.

The dates this year are 17, 18 and 19 July. The festival attracts international artists from Europe and across the UK giving a wide spread of rock and metal music. It is also a family-friendly event, and boasts a ‘metal market’.

Tickets are now available from Radcliffe Civic Suite or directly from Ticketline or from the SOS website. The cost is £15 for the whole weekend, £10 per day on Saturday and Sunday, and £5 for Friday only.

Places are still open for local bands to apply to play - visit the festival website at www.sosfestival.net for more information.
