Try world class virtual fitness with Bury Leisure

On Saturday (9 Sep) Bury Leisure will be showcasing their brand new fitness studios, ‘best of breed’ spinning bikes and Les Mills’ and Myride world class virtual fitness sessions on the big screen.

Everyone is welcome to come along and try out the virtual classes at Castle Leisure Centre in Bolton Street for just £1 each.

The range of Les Mills’ virtual classes include:

  • BodyCombat: a high energy martial arts inspired non-contact workout.

  • BodyBalance: a yoga-based class with Pilates and Tai Chi to improve mind and body.

  • Sh’bam: a fun-loving, insanely addictive dance workout set to chart music - no dance experience required!

  • CXWORX: a challenging but achievable workout for a stronger core body strength.
  • BodyPump: a weights class for anyone looking to get fit and toned.

Councillor Andrea Simpson, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “This Saturday we’re showcasing the new studios, new spin bikes and virtual big screen classes at Castle Leisure Centre. And, to celebrate, classes will be just £1 per session, offering a great opportunity to try something new at a great value price.

“We’re also offering the chance to win a one-month free membership in our free prize draw, with access to all our virtual and instructor-led classes, gym, pool and sports. So don’t miss out – join in on Saturday for a truly inspiring experience.”

Julie Porter, Bury Leisure studio co-ordinator, said: “We’re really excited to unveil our new virtual classes and the best spinning bikes in town. If you’re curious to find out more, come along on Saturday when the team and I will be on hand to help get you set up, answer any questions and make sure you get a great workout.”
