What’s in the bag on World Book Day?

Youngsters and families are invited to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 5 March and uncover a reading surprise.

Libraries across the borough are hiding children’s books in bags, so young people who ‘Bag-a-Book’ won’t know which book it is until they open it at home.

Every child at school in Bury will receive a World Book Day £1 book token, which can be exchanged for one of the many titles in the specially published £1 book range: see www.worldbookday.com
