High Five! Our destinations score in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2017...

Every year Lonely Planet’s experts select the most amazing places to go and things to do in the year ahead. Their ‘Best in Travel 2017’ has just come out, and the great news is that Chapters Experience Holidays can take you to five of the top 10 Lonely Planet destinations! Top spot was taken by Canada, where you can explore this spectacular country’s lesser known landscapes on our Great Lakes, Bays & Waterfalls of Ontario tour.

Runner-up was Columbia, where you can take in colonial life, coffee plantations and the Andean foothills. Take a walk on the wild side on the untouched volcanic island of Dominica, which was Lonely Planet’s fourth pick. The mountain kingdom of Nepal was fifth; here you have the chance to enjoy a feast of mountain walking and wildlife spotting on our Discovering Nepal tour. For something a little more adventurous, we can take you to the deserts, mountains and white beaches of Oman, which was eighth on the list.
