About Agria Pet Insurance

Agria is one of the world’s leading animal insurers, specialising in small animal insurance. Founded in Sweden over 120 years ago, Agria started underwriting pet insurance in the UK in 2009 and is based in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.

Agria UK works closely with veterinary practices, the Kennel Club and the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) and supports the work of numerous charities and rehoming centres by providing free pet insurance for 5 weeks for dogs and cats of any age.

Since 2009, Agria UK has made donations to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust amounting to over £500,000.

Agria’s lifetime commitment to pet owners means that veterinary fees cover is reinstated every year that the insurance policy renews and maximum benefits are reapplied, however many claims have been made. This means that on-going conditions can be covered for the whole of the pet’s life.
