Lampeter’s Pont Steffan Dental scoops multiple wins at national Dentistry Awards, Private Dentistry Awards and Oral Health Awards

Pont Steffan Dental Practice in Lampeter is celebrating after winning multiple awards across several categories at three prestigious award ceremonies held just a few weeks apart.

The first set of awards came on 15^th November at the Oral Health Awards in London where Pont Steffan received accolades for the UK’s Best Care of Nervous Patients and Best Oral Health Team.

At the Dentistry Awards on 23^rd November Pont Steffan was judged to have the Best Team Member (Louise Mouland), Best Practice, Best Patient Care and Best Dental Nurse (Louise Mouland) in Wales.

Then, just two weeks later, at the Private Dentistry Awards, the practice was awarded Most Improved Practice (West & Wales) and Highly Commended in the Best Team (South) category.

The practice aims to provide high quality dental care that’s also welcoming, friendly and empathetic to all patients but especially those with dental anxieties. This compassionate approach has certainly been recognised by the judging panels.

Principal Dentist, Dr Owain Dimmick, was delighted by the wins and commented: "I'm very proud of my team for what they have achieved. The success of the practice is because of them."

His view was echoed by Practice Manager, Becky Gardner, who said: "Collecting eight awards for the practice represents a huge achievement for Owain and the entire team. It is testimony to the hard work and dedication demonstrated by all."

The Dentistry Awards event is the UK’s largest dental awards ceremony and was held at the historical Athena venue in Leicester. This high profile award is judged by an independent panel of dental professionals and recognises excellence in dentistry.

The Private Dentistry Awards took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on Friday 7^th December. The Awards recognise and reward excellent private dentistry being carried out by teams and individuals throughout the UK and Ireland.
