Greene’s Tutorial College, Announce 50th Anniversary Scholarship Awards

Greene’s Tutorial College, Oxford have today announced that registration is now open for its 50th Anniversary Scholarship Awards scheme.

A limited number of scholarships for both A levels and the Geoscience Diploma are available for study at either of their campuses in Oxford or Lisbon (Estoril).

Financial incentives for prospective students are from 30% up to 100% of the total course fee as published on Greene’s website. Deadline for applications is 30th April 2017.

The awards come in the year which sees Greene’s celebrate 50 years of academic excellence and achievement as Oxford’s oldest tutorial college, founded in 1967 by University of Oxford graduate Edward Greene.

College Principal, Carmen Prozzillo said, “We are most interested in you as a person, each application will be considered on its merit. Our scholarships are designed to provide a Greene’s education to students who can demonstrate enthusiasm, academic potential and a genuine need for financial support.”

“Students may also choose to divide their time between our two locations - for example, taking the first year in Oxford and the second in Lisbon (Estoril).

The curricula in both campuses are synchronised allowing students the flexibility to spread their study time between the UK and Portugal, providing an opportunity for cultural exchange and the experience of living and studying in a different country for a few weeks or a few terms.”

To learn more about the scholarships and the chance to meet the academic staff, Greene’s are holding an Open Day at University College (University of Oxford) on Sunday 19th March from
10:00 – 16:00, please register to attend.

Alternatively, you can find more details about the scholarships and how to apply directly at www.greenes.org.uk
