MAJOR NEW CLOSED ROAD MARATHON LAUNCHES BETWEEN BRISTOL AND BATH!

GO2 Events, the Bath-based organiser of mass participation running events, are delighted to announce the launch of a brand new closed road, traffic- free marathon for the South West in 2015. Starting in the heart of Bristol and finishing in the historic City of Bath, the Bristol + Bath Marathon not only joins a select list of fully closed road marathons in the UK but will be amongst the first to be truly ‘City to City’.

The brand new event will take place on Sunday 25^th October 2015, boasting a completely closed-road route throughout the entire 26.2 mile course. Runners will take in the sights of the vibrant City of Bristol, including the SS Great Britain and Queens’ Square as they make their way through the beautiful rolling countryside of South Gloucestershire on the journey to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath.
